Upcoming Special Election for the 144th House District!

On Tuesday, January 25 there will be a special election to fill the 144th house district seat, formerly held by Caroline Simmons. Hubert Delany is the endorsed Democratic candidate and we are working hard to ensure he gets elected. If you are able to volunteer, please sign up here. Follow Hubert on Facebook here.

Hubert has qualified for the CT Citizens’ Election Program to finance his campaign. You can still donate to the DCC to help support campaign efforts.

If you live in the 144th house district, you will be able to vote in-person on Election Day or by absentee ballot. There is no COVID-19 excuse on the absentee ballot application for this election at this time. Absentee ballots are now available in the Town Clerk’s office, see more details below.
