Stamford Democrats Mourn the Passing of Dudley Williams

We are deeply saddened about the passing of our friend and former Vice Chair of the Stamford Democratic City Committee Dudley Williams. For over 30 years, Dudley served the Stamford community, touching the lives of so many. From being elected to the Stamford Board of Education and Board of Finance, to serving on the Stamford Planning Board, and most recently as President and CEO of the Mill River Collaborative, Dudley’s work, compassion, and years of public service have left an indelible and lasting mark on our city. Our deepest condolences are with his wife Juanita, son Dudley III, and all his family and friend. Rest in Peace Dudley, you will be greatly missed.

“I am deeply saddened at the loss of my friend and mentor Dudley Williams,” said Josh Fedeli, Chairman of the Stamford Democratic City Committee. “Our heart goes out to Juanita, Dudley III and the entire Williams family. Thank you for sharing Dudley with us. His unwavering commitment to service and the strength and character with which he served has set the standard for us all. In addition to so many things to which he gave his time, Dudley was a proud Democrat and leader of our party.  His support and guidance will be sorely missed. We can best honor Dudley by being a little more like him everyday. I will certainly try to.”

“The Connecticut Democrats mourn the passing of Dudley Williams,” said Nancy DiNardo, Chairwoman of the Connecticut Democratic Party. “Dudley was a man of service and a proud Democrat, who honorably served the Democratic Party in Stamford and supported Democrats across the state. He will sorely be missed.”
