Volunteer Opportunities

Thank you so much for your interest in volunteering with the Stamford Democratic Party! We are so excited for you to get involved, and keep CT blue in 2022!  To receive regular volunteer updates sign up here or check the list below for new and ongoing efforts.

It’s go time and our Democratic headquarters (located at 296 Bedford Street) is buzzing with activity! We are open Monday – Friday from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm and Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Stop by and join us for the following activities:

Stamford Democrats

Click here to sign-up to volunteer on Election Day. We need volunteers to help stand at the polls throughout the day, phonebank, and be available to give rides to the polls. 

Help us phonebank to Get Out the Vote! Click here to access a virtual phonebank link you can use to make phone calls on Election Day beginning at 10:00 am. Never phone banked before or have questions? Email us at info@stamforddems.com and we will help you out!

Governor Ned Lamont – Join the Governor’s campaign everyday – sign up here to canvass.

Matt Blumenthal is the incumbent State Representative in the 147th district – Sign up here to help canvass and phonebank.

Ceci Maher is running for State Senate in the 26th district (Glenbrook area). Help Ceci canvass or help drive others while they canvass. Join here

Trevor Crow is running for State Senate in the 36th district (North Stamford). Join here

Paid Opportunities

The Stamford Registrar is looking for poll workers for the November 8 election. Call 203-977-5567 for more information. Hours are 5:30 am until polls close and the pay range is $275+ depending on the job. There will be a training class for all positions prior to the election.

Grossman Solutions is hiring Campaign Canvassers for a paid canvass in support of Democratic Governor Ned Lamont. Pay is $23/hour plus a health insurance stipend for full time canvassers.  Find more detailed information here.
