On Thursday, January 12th, the Democratic City Committee met to endorse a candidate to fill the Board of Education vacancy, which opened due to Ben Lee’s resignation from the Board in December 2022. This Democratic appointment will last until the November 7th, 2023 election, at which time voters will vote for a candidate to fill the remainder of the term.
