Writing Postcards to Stamford Democrats

Stop by our headquarters (501 Summer Street) and pick up a stack of 25 postcards to fill out. Drop them back off when completed and we will mail them out. This is time sensitive so we ask that you return the postcards 1-2 days after picking them up.

Campaign Literature Drops

Due to COVID-19, campaigns are not sending out volunteers to do any traditional canvassing. However, we are still looking for individuals who are willing to do “lit drops,” (dropping off campaign literature at doors without knocking). If you are interested, please email info@stamforddems.com and we will connect you with a campaign.

Write a Letter to the Editor

Write a letter to the editor to show your support for our Democratic candidates or to highlight an issue that’s important to our party! Please email info@stamforddems.com if you are interested.

Delivering Lawn Signs

Help us deliver lawn signs to fellow voters or find high-traffic areas to place candidate signs. Stop by our headquarters to grab some signs or email us with location suggestions.

Place Voting Flyers in Apartment Buildings or Condos

We are looking for individuals to be building captains to help get voting information to voters who live in apartments and condos. If you are interested in helping with this, email us at info@stamforddems.com.

Volunteer in the Town Clerk’s Office

Help the Town Clerk’s office sort through absentee ballots. Please email Ann Weis at braam6265@gmail.com about weekly/weekend shift work at the Stamford Government Center.

Voter Registration Help

If you would like to help register people to vote, contact AmyofCT@aol.com – Voter Services Volunteer Captain for Stamford’s League of Women Voters.

Host a Candidate Meet & Greet

Host a virtual or socially-distanced event with your district representatives! Gather your friends, family, and neighbors to learn more about our candidates and support their campaigns. Please email info@stamforddems.com to set this up.

Volunteer with the Stamford Registrar of Voters

The Stamford Registrars Office is looking for seasonal workers who can commit to working in the office throughout the year. Training is required for this paid position. The Registrar’s office is also looking for poll moderators for Election Day. Training is required and a high attention to detail is a must. Contact lfife@stamfordct.gov if you are interested. Please note that there has been an overwhelming response for regular poll workers, so if you have applied to work at the polls on Election Day, you will only be contacted if a spot becomes available.

Ride to Polls

We are looking for individuals who are willing to provide rides to the polls on Election Day. If you are interested, please email info@stamforddems.com.
