Tell Our Congress and Senate to: Block Any Tariffs – protect the American people from prices hikes on just about everything. Stop The Attack On The US Government – everything Trump and Musk are attempting to do right now is illegal. They cannot just turn off appropriated monies, shutter government programs, fire hundreds of thousands of Federal workers. Block the Budget CR bill in the Senate – the only ones shutting down the government, are the Republicans by enabling Musk, Trump and DOGE. Sample script: Hello, I am (insert name), I am a constituent living in [city/town], and my zip code is [zip code]. I am calling to demand that the [Senate/House] uses all the tools at their disposal to stop Donald Trump and Elon Musk’s illegal power grab. Trump’s actions are blatantly unconstitutional and a threat to my personal and financial security, as well as our national security. I urge you to do everything in your power to fight back against Trump’s executive branch coup using all procedural mechanisms in Congress until these moves are reversed. It’s time for Congress to reassert its authority and serve as a check on the executive branch. Senator Chris Murphy 202-224-4041 (DC) 860-549-8463 (CT) Senator Richard Blumenthal 202-224-2823 (DC) 203-330-0598 (CT) Congressman Jim Himes 203-353-9400 (Stamford) 202-225-5541 (DC) |

National Campaigns Efforts
1. Help mobilize voters in Florida for the HD1 and HD6 special elections on April 1st. The Dem candidates are Gay Valimont and Josh Weil. The easiest way to help them is to go to Mobilize.us/ and enter either of their names in the search button. That will direct you to any phone banks or postcard opportunities. Those are tough seats to flip, but we have to try!
2. On April 1, there will be a special election for the Wisconsin Supreme Court. The winning side will hold a four-to-three majority on the state high court, which is expected to render decisions about abortion, voting access, the state’s collective bargaining laws, and its congressional maps. Donate here to Support Susan Crawford or via ActBlue. You can sign up here through the Wisconsin Dems for remote volunteer opportunities to help ensure that Judge Susan Crawford is elected. You can also sign up here to call Wisconsin voters to encourage them to vote on April 1 or earlier.
3. There are two Gubernatorial races this November, one in New Jersey and one in Virginia. We have a real shot at winning BOTH and sending a clear message to the White House that voters are unhappy and unsupportive of the GOP agenda. Support Abigail Spanberger for Virginia HERE and Mikie Sherrill for New Jersey HERE.

As the Trump administration takes office, a lot of us might feel the urge to take a break from the news (or already have). Protecting your mental health is important, but so is staying informed and involved in what’s happening locally, statewide, and nationally. Navigating today’s media landscape — dominated by AI, unchecked social media, and misinformation — can be challenging. To help, we have put together a list of news and opinion sources we recommend checking out:
